Encouraged by the success story of implementing the Mini Solar Home System to 41 houses in Kampung Sumambu, Tenom, Sabah in early 2010, the member of parliament for Tenom further set aside budget allocation for the installation of Green Solar Home System to 39 houses in Kampung Katubu in Tenom. Installation started on 17 Dec 2010 and completed on 25 Dec 2010, thus enabling the rural folks in all 39 houses to enjoy the “miracle of light” on Christmas Day.
